"New Beginnings"
There is electricity in the air
and hopefulness consumes her.
She emerges with once girdled desires
that will soon be enslaved no more.
The sensation of the tepid sun
caresses her recent insecurities.
Her green eyes glance to the sky
and she knows this is where she is meant to be.
She turns and gazes upon his face
and timidly waves hello to possibility.
She embraces the hand of new beginnings
as she turns and bids farewell to her fear.
